Happy New Year Everyone!!! Hopefully everybody had a fun, wonderful and safe new years eve. New Years Eve day was so beautiful, with a little luck, everyone was able to get out in the lovely sunshine and enjoy. I think I made it to 10:00 p.m. New Years Eve night, but am up this morning in the year 2012, which is a good thing.
Lots going on in the shop. For those whom have been waiting for the “Mondo Bag” interfacing, it is here and ready to go. The “LEWE” panel has been a terrific hit! These cute little lambs make the sweetest projects. The Growth Chart from this line, seems to take almost minutes to make and sure is a unique baby gift.
A beautiful pattern using Stonehenge and the Stonehenge fabrics to make it, have arrived and are gorgeous! Mary and Debbie are in the process of making a sample and this is going to be one luscious quilt.
We also have received a fun line of Lime Greens that would make any quilt recipient appreciative. There is a little gray, a little white, a little black in some of the bolts. There is nothing more cheerful than lime green, it really is a neutral you know. I think these fabrics would work up nicely in either the “Take Five” or “Yellow Brick Road” patterns.
For those of you in the Block of the Month, if you have not picked up your December Blocks, please do. January blocks are now ready and come with the next package of fabrics. If any of you have made the free projects included in the BOM, we would love for you to bring them in for show and tell. We are working on the one for January now, will prove to be interesting.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild's Show on the 24th and 25th of February, there are going to be some beautiful things displayed.
Big news!!! January 21st is our 3rd Birthday!!!!! We will be having a sale Friday, January 20th and Saturday, January 21st, so be sure to come in and celebrate with us.
Need to go work on the class schedule, hopefully something will entice you to come, sit, sew and enjoy the fellowship. Don’t forget to hug the ones you love.
