If someone would have said it was going to be summer like the first of February, I would never have believed them. But here we are, and everyone is in short sleeves and in line at the DQ!!
I added a class in March called “Smooth Sailing, Double Friendship Star”, so be sure to check out the class schedule. Nancy will be teaching this fun class. So whether you are a beginner, or an experienced quilter, come be a part of the wonderful fellowship. Be sure to sign up as soon as you can, as space is limited.
Also, the February Project of the Month is really a pretty pattern which Mary made and we have here in the shop. This is a project you can finish and be proud to hang on your wall.
“Wool and Needle Flannel” by Moda has arrived and it looks just like Wool! They are masculine fabrics and will make a gorgeous quilt, no matter how simple or ornate the pattern. Be sure to collect some of these flannels for projects or stash.
“Stitch in Color”, was delivered the end of January and we unwrapped and put the fabrics out same day. The cheater panel went like hot cakes and I called, but sadly, Moda is not reprinting these fabrics. Fear not, we still have some charm packs and yardage of some of the line which would make fun, bright and cheerful quilts and other projects.
Lastly, for all of you who have sent cards, gifts, good wishes and prayers, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This new journey I am taking will be trying, but Duane and I know we will make it through and the end result will be positive. Your kindness and friendships are truly overwhelming and greatly treasured.
